AN NI BACK IN DURBAN

After her successful teachings in 2012 and 2013, An Ni will return to Durban in September this year, continuing her classes and workshops.

An Ni is a visual artist and ink painter from China. Since 2003 she has been internationally exchanging her experiences and teachings regarding Chinese ink painting.

Her students include painting enthusiasts from Austria, Germany, Finland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, the U.S., Australia and South Africa. In 2011 she organized painting workshops in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and in 2012 and 2013 she was invited to come to Durban and share her knowledge through painting classes and workshops.

The courses on offer are as follows:

Full Course Adults: Bamboo, Hibiscus, Pomegranate & Expression of the Elements. September 15, 16, 18 and 19 from 08h30 until 12h00 noon. Cost R400 per class (optional extra: Chinese Brushes, Bamboo Paper, Ink & Pigment from China - R850). Total course: R1,600 (only 9 places). Venue: June’s Pottery Studio 350, Alan Paton Road, Durban.

Kids Class: Panda, Goldfish & Chinese Calligraphy. September 20 or 27 from 09h00 until 11h00. Cost R280 (only 8 places). Venue: June’s Pottery Studio 350, Alan Paton Road, Durban

Crash Course Adults: Water Lily & Magnolia. September 20 or 27 from 12 noon until 16h00. Cost: R450 (Only 12 places). Venue: The Centre for Fine Art, Animation & Design, 183 Cowey Road, Berea, Durban
