ELVIS ‘TRILOGY’

(Doug Welch)

For the fourth year running, by popular demand, Doug Welch is back at the Rhumbelow Theatre with “TRILOGY”, a Rocktainment Production which covers the three major musical eras of Elvis Presley.

Welch is backed by his very accomplished band MSG, comprising Wade Wight (keyboards and backing vocals); Ollie Hart (piano); Jill Murraybrown (bass guitar); Graham Buckle (drums); Andy Turrell and Bruce Boome (lead guitar); Tammy Saville and Marion Loudon (female vocals) with Kirsty Madgin (saxophone).

This excellent 90 minute performance will include favourites such as That’s Alright Mama, Blue Suede Shoes, All Shook Up, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender, Heartbreak Hotel, Are You Lonesome Tonight and Suspicious Minds, to name a few.

With his costume changes, Welch will portray Elvis in the 50’s, Elvis in the 68’ Comeback Special and the ultimate, Elvis in Las Vegas! Based in Ballito, Welsh is a well accomplished ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) who has performed country wide.

Trilogy” is for all ages and a show not to be missed as it pays tribute to one of the greatest musical icons of the 20th Century.
