M-Net Movies will show three good movies tomorrow night (September 6):

The November Man: Premiere DStv Channel 103 at 20h30 The action crime thriller was directed by Roger Donaldson in 2014 and stars Pierce Brosnan, Luke Bracey and Olga Kurylenko. The end of communism did not end Hollywood’s love of spy thrillers; it merely changed the rules. A physical war has replaced a nuclear standoff as fuel for intriguing tales of espionage. Pierce Brosnan, a former James Bond, slotted seamlessly into the part of CIA operative.

A retired CIA agent is drawn back into action to extract a woman with important connections and information from Russia, in order to bring a war criminal to book. One of the men he trained many years ago may now have become his mortal enemy.

The Other Woman: Movies Showcase DStv Channel 108 at 20h00. The comedy romance stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton and was directed by Nick Cassavetes in 2014.

The First Wives Club, a 1996 film starring Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton, sparked the idea of a modern version featuring three woman conspiring to avenge their humiliation, with Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton teaming up to hit back where it hurts.

A playboy’s nasty habit to court more than one women at the same time hits a snag when they meet each other. Hell, as the proverb goes, hath no fury like a woman scorned, and when hell descends from three directions at once, the target is in for one fiery surprise after the other.

Bad Company: Movies Showcase DStv Channel 108 (check time). Anthony Hopkins, Chris Rock and Kerry Washington star in this actin comedy directed by Joel Schumacher in 2002.
