As children prepare to trick or treat this October, Shot on
Location (SOL) prepares for its visual take on Halloween.
This is a creativephotographic journey to be held on a farm
in Ashburton near Pietermaritzburg. On November 1, models and photographers
will gather for a day and work together, through the click of a button, and
focus of a lens.
In its sixth leg of its visual arts campaign, SOL is
gathering content for a documentary called Ubuntuology,
which focuses on two civilizations, the first nation of Canada and South Africa
20 years on. The aim is to bring about social cohesion of people and cameras,
providing budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn and teach their trade.
Join Shot on Location
this Halloween for a fun-filled day with the dead, celebrating life and the
community.
Entrance is free to the public. No experience is required,
just passion, a costume and a camera. Booking is essential through Dante Kemp
of Anatoli Photography on 033 345 7966 or email anatoli@webmail.co.za or whatsapp
