Durban audiences
will be treated to two shows with South Africa’s premier rock band, Prime
Circle, when they perform at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway on November 30 and
December 1.
The band released Let The Night In - Deluxe Edition in May
2016 to coincide with their European tour that includes festival appearances
alongside Iron Maiden, Garbage, Slayer and Iggy Pop. Let the Night In – Deluxe Edition is the band’s first official European
release, and went on sale ahead of their multi-date tour of Germany and
Austria.
Since they first
burst out of the sleepy mining town of Witbank some 15 years ago, Prime Circle
has been unstoppable. They stormed out of the gates with their record-breaking
debut album in 2003, and have followed it up with a string of massive studio
albums that have secured their place as the most successful rock act in South
African history.
The band consists
of Ross Learmonth on vocals and guitar, Marco Gomes on bass guitar, Dale
Schnettler on drums and backing vocals, Neil Breytenbach on keyboards, and Dirk
Bisschoff lead guitar.
Patrons attending
the show can expect to hear new songs along with their past hits like Hello, My Inspiration, Same Goes For You,
Let Me Go, Crazy World, As Long As I Am Here, Maybe Wrong, Live This Life,
Miracle, Out Of This Place, She Always Gets What, Consider Me, Breathing,
Turning In My Sleep, Never Gonna Bring Us Down, Everything You Want, Turn Me To
Stone, Gone, Doors and new tracks off the Deluxe Edition.
Performances take
place on November 30 and December 1 at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway. Tickets
R200 pp and seating will be as for normal shows, with no standing room. For
