(Byron
Love)
The next Maritzburg Musicians Club takes
place tomorrow (September 5). Local hero Hex Houston is bringing
superstar-to-be, Michaela to the La Casa stage.
Byron Love is no stranger to the Pietermaritzburg
scene and performs bluesy/folk covers and originals. Additionally, be wowed by
16 year old Sivan Cruywagen's phenomenal vocal talents.
Michaela is becoming a Maritzburg
sensation. She's gained a reputation from playing at St Ives, Legends Live
Music Venue, Miths and soon to be at The Cavern. She has also been winning
singing competitions at her school. She takes her music seriously and tests her
abilities with songs from Adele, Nora Jones and Rihanna and is greatly
influenced by these artists. Michaela holds a pop/bluesy set of vocals and has
been stunning the crowds every time she steps on stage. She will be accompanied
by her guitar teacher Hector Houston who will be providing those familiar
colourful melodies.
