of up to 14,000 attending the concert in Beijing, the award winning,
internationally acclaimed saxophonist, Andrew Young returns to his origins
bringing his musical journey full circle. See him perform his latest show, Diamonds & Strings at the Rockwood
Theatre, Sibaya on March 7, 2018.
Diamonds
& Strings is an arrangement of Andrew’s popular
CD Diamonds. It has been especially orchestrated
for this concert. Featuring the dynamic Quattro Femmes String Quartet, together
with his band, he will perform songs such as Summertime, Cavatina, Manenberg and Over The Rainbow.
This promises to be an evening of
superlative entertainment with Young who is enjoying great success as a
soloist. His performance at Sibaya is something of a homecoming for Young who
has spent over a decade in classical symphony orchestras worldwide, including
the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra.
