Front row seats to worldwide broadcast
premiere of TV special
Apart from Durban’s beautiful beaches and
tropical climate, it was the warm and supportive fans that encouraged the
producers of Tamil language TV channel, STAR
Vijay, to choose the City of Durban as the perfect location to record a
worldwide premiere of a new TV special called Vijay Star Nite.
Durban audiences were captivated with
performances from the stars from some of the most popular shows on STAR Vijay in this Bollywood
extravaganza that took place at the Durban ICC on March 1, 2019.
Fans that missed out on this sensational
evening of glitz and glamour can get their front row seats to the show - in the
comfort of their own homes – with an exclusive worldwide special broadcast of
the concert on Star Vijay International on DStv Channel 445 on March 17 at 12h30
CAT (Part One) and March 24 at 12h30 CAT (Part Two).
The excitement for this event was highly
evident with popular radio personality, Sureshnie Rider, taking to social media
to express her enthusiasm about the show and her admiration towards the
headlining act, Shankar Mahadevan.

Audiences were entertained throughout the

evening of world-class entertainment filled with renditions of evergreen hits
to magical folk numbers and dances, accompanied by a live band.
To add to all the excitement and fun, the
audience were also entertained by their all-time favourite anchor, Dhivya
Dharshini, along with the witty host, Ma Ka Pa.
