This July, BBC Studios in Africa will continue to serve up a host of premium shows across their channels.

On BBC Brit, viewers can look forward to a brand new season of Pointless, as contestants try to score as few points as possible by plumbing the depths of their general knowledge to come up with the answers no-one else can think of. Multi award-winning actress and multi dog-owning star Sheridan Smith OBE will be hosting a new competitive dog styling series - Pooch Perfect.

BBC Earth will be serving up a variety of informative science and nature focused shows such as The Extraordinary Powers of the Human Body, Secret of Skin and The Ganges with Sue Perkins. Michael Palin’s Travels sees the much-loved TV traveller revisit four of his famous documentary series – Around the World in 80 Days, Pole to Pole, Full Circle and Sahara and Neil Oliver presents a drama-documentary series, Blood of the Clans which tells the tale of Scotland’s 17th-century civil war.

Fans of The Great British Bake Off can look forward to a new tasty treat as The Great Kenyan Bake Off joins the local line-up on BBC Lifestyle. Cherry Healey is back for a second season of 10 Years Younger in 10 Days and Giles Coren and Monica Galetti roll up their sleeves to work in some of the most extraordinary hotels across the globe in Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby Series.
