ART & PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

Adam Riley Bird Photography

Adam Riley will be displaying a selection of his spectacular bird photographs, both local birds as well as brilliant species from his adventures around the world. These are printed on Perspex which enables the vivid colours of the birds to be faithfully reproduced. Renowned Nguni photographer Ed Schroeder has contributed his professional editing skills to ensure these prints are incredible.

Rayne Hampson

“My paintings are always inspired by the beauty that surrounds us, and the beautiful Africa we live in. One of my favourites to paint are our beautiful birds. Their shapes, colours and wonderful displays intrigue me. I love to capture their beauty in an impressionist style that resonates with the moment and creates an artwork that keeps on giving.”

Brent Dodd Art

“Having had the privilege of traveling the world, exhibiting internationally and exploring different continents, I have developed a massive respect for the way in which art is portrayed. Working in both the studio and educating in the classroom, I continue to pursue my passion for the creation of art and I am thrilled to be displaying some of my recent bird works at this event.”

Ingrid Weiersbye

Close to home, Ingrid has illustrated the Hilton College Fleur-de Lys Club Honours Boards over the years. On a wider front, her illustration work is well-known within the pages of the Roberts Bird Guides, a familiar part of South Africa’s heritage. Here she shows a selection of favourite subject ornithological matter from various projects.
