Gonsalves is a composer, pianist, bandleader and music educator who has toured the world with his music. His latest album, Blessings and Blues is a trio recording that was released in April, 2021.
Gonsalves’s music is deeply influenced by the rich diversity of cultural life that characterizes his homeland, the beautiful seaside city of Durban, in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. He will play at The Headroom with his Durban-based Trio with Riley Giandhari on drums and Talent Mbatha on bass.
