The desire to raise funds to support Deon Cloete, their colleague-in-need who has cancer, has resulted in the pooling of many musicians’ resources in a concert to be held at LIVE The Venue on June 3.
Bands who have kindly offered to play for free include Cloud 9; Zwarte Piet Band; Avade; East Coast Basement Blues; Salty Dog and Zaffa.
The Deon Clote Fundraising Concert will take place on June 3 at LIVE The Venue at 166 Stamfordhill Road, Durban. Doors open 13h00. Entrance fee R50 pp (all entrance fee monies go to Deon Cloete). There will be a cash bar and Boerewors Rolls will be on sale. Various Raffles will be held, the proceeds also going to Deon Cloete.
