The NEWF Congress takes place online from October 25 to 30, 2020.
#NEWF2020 Nature, Environment and Wildlife Filmmakers Congress: Creating a Path to Conservation Through Film - has been re-imagined and will be taking place in a virtual world!
The organisers explain the new version: “In rethinking how we can continue to do this in the new world, we have reimagined our world! Our experiences in virtual reality do not need to be in isolation; they can be shared with other people in real-time where human-to-human interactivity is totally possible.
“There’s a sense of physical presence in different environments and spaces as well as a sense of presence of others too – allowing for real-time conversations and interaction just as the real world does! People are represented in this virtual social space by avatars.
