South African vocalist, songwriter, and educator Natalie Rungan, performing
music from her latest album, African
Breyani. The performance will take place on April 1, 2026, at 17h30.
African Breyani, created with Ghanaian pianist and composer Victor Dey Jr., blends South and West African jazz influences. The project places African musical traditions at the centre of jazz, combining rich rhythms, melody, and storytelling into a contemporary, collaborative sound.
This live tour offers an intimate preview of the album, featuring Rungan and Dey alongside Shaun Johannes (bass) and Riley Giandhari (drums). Audiences can expect live performances of the first three singles, along with insights into the creative process behind the music.
